Believe it or not, The General does have a sensitive side
I suppose I'm mainly known for my inhumane treatment of innocent people in the 1980s. Superman and I have long since put our differences behind us, and we remain great friends to this day. I also consider myself a somewhat reformed character, and now feel greatly in touch with my 'emotions'. Which brings me to this album. This is a truly beautiful album of delicate instrumentation and haunting vocals. (Not in a 'celtic moods' type of way though). This is not upbeat music, but that's not to say that it isn't uplifting, as many a true music lover can understand. Instead, this a fragile and sometimes dark album, with no gimmickery or pompous production (apart from reverb). These are just simple but beautiful songs, sung by a beautiful voice. Perfect for a dark, rainy night.
