This really is a good album.I had this first time around in the early eighties and played it over and over, great songs big sound for that time.Dangerous minds and mirror smashed have that brilliant Ruts signature guitar and bass chugging riffs thing.I had been trying to get this album for ages, great to see it is on itunes.
Amazing Stuff
I always loved The Ruts. Their guitar sound was so unique. I remember being devastated while listening to John Peel one night when he announced the untimely death of Malcolm Owen. They of course reformed as Ruts DC (De Capo) and released Animal Now.
This has always been one of my all time favourite albums. I've never understood why it never received the acclaim it deserved and why it was never released on CD. This remastered download is very welcome.
This really is one of the most underated LPs of all time. Give it a listen if you're not familiar with it.

An Essential Purchase
Have waited years for this re-release from 1981 having worn the vinyl out - the album of the year then and still sounding as powerful now. An essential purchase.
