As Day Follows Night
What a wonderful surprise this is... very understated, perfect in its simplicity, allowing her remarkable voice to shine through with the minimum of accompaniments. No gimmicks - just a great album to highlight a remarkable talent.
Sit back, pour yourself a glass of something nice, turn the lights down low, unplug the phone, switch off the tv, light some candles, lie back, chill out and enjoy....
As day follows night
A truly amazing album. Love her voice. Hope she gets the recognition she deserves. 10/10
Unique and wonderful
Sarah has a very unique voice. You will either love it or hate it. There are some very unusual, sometimes brilliant tracks here, including some covers which sit well with the rest of the material. You may need to give this a few listens before you get into it - 17 tracks is a bit long; could have released this over two albums in order to make it easier on the ear - but that's just my opinion. Worth buying, along with her second album from 2006 which is also avaialble on itunes.
