Excellent Vocal Range, Great Emotive Music
I like this whole album, but my favourite is "Time to Kill" which I think is a great example of David's vocal range and ability to put the feeling into a song.
If you like Michael Ball or Jamie Cullum and are new to David's music it would definitely be worth your while checking this out.
I know David Kent quite well...
David's influences include Swing and Jazz, but are predominantly Musical Theatre. This album is a collection of original songs, written over a period of ten years or so. Arranged simply for piano and voice, the recordings attempt to expose the story at the heart of each song. The bonus track - featuring a mystery artist known only as "Ms Kitten" - is a disco remix of one of David's favourite songs, which formed part of a pilot for an internet video series.
