very good
In defence of elissa after dans review i have to say that this album is a bit of a grower. Tracks one and two are simply outstanding. When all said and done this woman is a vocalist and a superb one. She does not need to jump thru musical hoopes, change image or sound. The beauty of arabic music is in the vocals and of course the music. Western music may change like the weather, but arabic music is generally steeped in tradition with layered texture and sound. Its cool, why change it to appeal to a vacuous west, who on the whole do not appreciate anything unless its sung in english? Take a look at France's Mylene Farmer. Elissa out sells madonna 3 to 1 or something. We really need to open our minds. Elissa is a great, accessible way to start. Enjoy, but listen to it 3 times before you pass judgement
Elissa is Talented
Well , people might say Elissa songs are all alike , but you are wrong they talk about one thing true , which is Love , thats what she most focuses on in her music , her songs are not loud they are kind of calming , and if you understand Arabic you will know that Elissa her songs are different in a way ! So if your Personality best describes you as a Romantic person and is in love , then this is the CD for you ! It talks about Love etc ... etc .... So if you feel what i just wrote best describes you I think you will like her songs !

I never liked Elissa's old albums but this is the best!! also she made it to the itunes!!
