Nu:Tone is a Drum n Bass Genius
In a nutshell Nu:Tone is one of the most influential and soulful producers in the Drum n Bass scene. His tunes are so beautifully, and tightly produced, that i defy any self respecting music lover not to be absorbed into his world. In my opinion, Nu:Tone just has the edge on his brother Logistics, and consistantly churns out tune after tune of melodic musical mastery. Do yourself a favor and get this album, as this is destined to be the Drum n Bass summer album of 2007. Big up to Nu:Tone.
I'm a believer (again)
Outstanding soulful liquid funk of the highest order. Dan Gresham seriously comes up with the goods this time. This quality album is worth it just for the Beliefs tune alone. Back Of Beyond is the best sounding Nu:Tone and Hospital Records release yet. System is wonderful. Top notch Nat Williams RnBisms. Another biggy is Jetstream. But I have to say Beliefs is the true anthem here. What a catch with the vocal. Pat Fulgoni has bags of soul and it is simply infectious here on this masterpiece production. Buy it now. You'll not be disappointed.
The Best Combination of Styles
I don't know much about this music or the history of the producers. I have started listening to the Hospital podcast and this was one of their promos. It is the best Drum and Bass / Dance music I think I have ever heard. The album combines the classic styles of DnB with soulful lyrics and melodies (Deep Old). Undoubtedly Beliefs is the best tone on this album but it would be nothing without the other great songs to give the album its awesome atmosphere. Keep up the good work!
