Incredible

This band are sensational. Their songs are powerful, driven with force seen rarely. In fact, if i had to compare Battle to any other band, it would be Bloc Party, because of the unsettling energy through the songs. Highlights are 'Tendency', 'Beautiful Dynasty' and 'Isabelle', although it is a shame that 'North Sea' isn't on here, as that is a superb song that will surely appear on a later EP. They have been around for a while, but it looks like now, and certainly 2007, is their time to shine, kickstarted by this fantastic debut EP.

Fresh

Just when all hope was gone a band steps up and restores faith in good old fashioned creativeness.....a long career awaits....

Just another band...

I saw this band suporting the magnificent Cooper Temple Clause recently and have to admit I was not blown away. Their songs are catchy whilst playing and you find yourself dancing along, however, that said, they are instantly forgetable. I thought this band to be a cheap immitation of Bloc Party. Battle are to Bloc Party what Hard-Fi are to Kasabian... A band that offer something similar, but nothing as good. Average.
