Musical Evolution in plain sight
Secret Archives of the Vatican DON'T make dubsteb, they don't make electronica, they don't make world music or fusion music, they make THEIR music, and over the years that I have been listening to the output from this eclectic collective every release has evolved and changed, stripping down the dna of Dub and recombining it into sounds unlike any other artists out there.
Barbary Lion continues this trend, rolling in vocal samples, live instrumentation, killer percussion and some wholly original beats. Barbary Lion flows like a river, from track one to the finale, passing through, absorbing and integrating influences from The Far East, The Middle East, even from East Croydon. This is independant, it is original, it is quality and it deserves a listen.......
