Album Review
One of the leading figures on the German electronic music scene, Paul Kalkbrenner both scored and starred in this comedy-drama about a DJ and producer who is poised to break through to international fame when he ends up in a mental hospital after a trip to the emergency room while tripping on club drugs. The Original Soundtrack album for Berlin Calling includes a handful of new tracks from Kalkbrenner as well as contributions from Sascha Funke.

This is great to listen to while taking a stroll in the city - chilled but edgy and uplifting in parts - I love this album. I haven't seen the film but the music will give it a touch of class
Strolling city muzic!
Agreed! this is the perfect album to listen to whilst walking through a city, on a break from the bleak,boring reality we know as work! It bubbles alone nice and have great melodies, basslines that drop in and out. And of course the bleeps and electro-synth just makes this album a hit!!
One Of The Best...
...house music albums in recent years, if not even THE best in recent years. The tracks are perfect for cruising through the city, sitting in your garden or simply playing them in the background while relaxing. The flow of the songs, the thoughtful melody and the deep basslines really make this soundtrack stand out. The movie was great - and this album does it every bit of justice. If you like house, trance, electro and want to get carried away by a beautiful selection of tracks then this is the album to get!
