Simply beautiful!
This is a superb collection. There is not a bad track on it - and it has more than a CD full. Of course it is beautifully produced and the sounds are great - but where it really stands out from the crowd is that there are some really decent tunes here. Most of their lesser contemporaries don't have the knack of writing such great melodies (with the possible exception of Air.) I love 'Stay the same' off 'the everlasting blink' which has a David Essex vocal - but it's not on this best of - but I guess that's the nature of it when you have so many good tracks to choose from. Also I would have liked to have seen Ashley Beedles superb reworking of Always on it - but I guess they want to sell the remixes album out at the same time, which is fair enough. All in all - this really is a fantastic collection of electronic music, and the newer stuff sounds just as good as their earlier work.

The best of coming from the most underated artists of all, and that is not just my opinion! The thing is with bent which makes them so unique is each album has its own different sound to the previous one. Rather than churning out the same stuff album after album, true mark of something special. They push the bountries of sound, and like to experiment rather than conform. Their have a back cataloge of unrealeased material, to put out another 10 albums at least!! £7.99 for 2 cds worth of Musical greatness of the highest order, is a real bargain!
