This fourth solo album from the former Suede frontman is the follow-up to 2009's Slow Attack. Working once again with co-writer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Leo Abrahams (probably best known for his work on Brian Eno's Small Craft on a Milk Sea), here Anderson eschews the acoustic soundtrack ambience of the last album for a "restless, noisy and dynamic" sound described as "a return to the rock band format.", Rovi

bit more like it

It's been a difficult relationship of late with me and Brett. I never actually listen to any of the woodwind stuff, bought it so fair enough just never put it on bar the odd song, always felt a bit 'forced' if you see what I mean. The odd embarrassing repeated lyric catchphrase aside this is strong stuff and much much better - a true return to form. I may now once again say I'm a Brett fan but without the saddoes reunion sh*t - I'll leave that to his revitalised fan base of yummy mummys and their rugby necked hubbies who smoke dope at his concerts.. oh get you.
