there remixes get better and better .....blu mar tens different styles STILL keep me lisening
A smooth, lush and beautiful sound
Black Water is the trio’s second album for Exceptional taking over where their debut full length album The Six Million Names of God left off, focusing more on the downbeat side of Blu Mar Ten. Presenting a wide range of sounds and influences, Black Water is an expansive musical triumph. It's impossible to pigeon hole Black Water into one genre is as it takes in a vast selection of musical tastes, sounds and textures. From the lush cosmic cinematic sounds of the title track, Rouge and Dolce Vita to the more immediate break beat tinged songs such as Anytime Soon and Why Me, Why Now, Black Water effortlessly swirls and turns like a musical journey across time over the five continents. We can’t really expect anything less from a production team that has been on the forefront of electronic music for the past 12 years! The past couple of years have been very busy for Blu Mar Ten. Aside from revisiting their drum ‘n’ bass roots the trio has also been experimenting with uncharted musical territory. Some of the results are present on the eagerly anticipated new album, Black Water which retains the lushness of previous work while adopting a much more direct approach in its sound.

Love this record - bought after downloading Black Water off another compilation. Very lush production. If you like your music smoove, get this.
