Stunning

I have never felt the need to write on here before but I think in this case I need to. Not only was 'The Boy in Striped Pyjamas' a brilliant film but Horner's score is amazing. Not only does it enhance the motion that you feel when watching but he brings an innocence to the film which makes it compulsive viewing. Buy the CD now. It's unlike anything ive heard before. It's completely amazing and I can;t give it enough praise.

A total masterpiece!

I went to see this film, quite by chance, with a friend who had previously read the book. 25% the way through the film, I was totally riveted. The musical score dovetails the story perfectly. The ambience it generates is without doubt invaluable in the overall delivery of the film as a whole. This score is totally beautiful and dare I suggest, heart rendering. An absolute masterpiece, which can be enjoyed in it's own right but to truly understand and benefit from the nuances and intricacies the music imparts, you really need to have seen the film. Notwithstanding, another skilfully crafted soundtrack from James Horner. You will not be disappointed.

Beautifully chilling

this score, is beautiful. Sending shivers through my spine when i first heard it, it accompanies the film wonderfully - and on it's own also steals the show! A true masterpiece!
