Album Review
A successful songwriter for the likes of Gareth Gates, Will Young, and Liberty X, Lucie Silvas became an artist in her own right with her 2005 debut album Breathe In. Produced by Michael Peden and co-written with Judie Tzuke, its melodic, piano-led ballads and acoustic soft rock drew comparisons with Delta Goodrem, and spawned five singles, the U.K. Top Tens "What You're Made Of" and title track, plus "The Game Is Won," "Don't Look Back," and "Forget Me Not," alongside a surprising cover version of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters." ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

Just Breathe her in
Lovely voice; power when she needs it, and the ability to convey emotions with ease. A modern day musician with clear sense of direction; a rare thing from a debut album. Your money will not be wasted here. Buy with confidence if you are a power ballard fan.
Simply Surprisingly Good
After hearing it a lot on the radio, I had already noticed "Breathe In" by this time last year. Then I saw this girl perform a short set live last summer in Liverpool - and that persuaded me to buy the whole album. I thought it was a risky decision: debut album, one or two good songs no doubt, but what will the rest be like?... etc etc. I needn't have worried - I absolutely loved the entire album straight off, and still love it. "Nothing Else Matters" has to be the best track for me, but it's a close call with about four others - and not one single track I fast forward through! Beautiful voice, and I especially like the tracks with strong piano accompaniment. Nice one, Lucie!
Breathe In...
Well, I brought this album by mistake! Good dam job too... This is by far one of the best debut albums from a uk female star in years. talented as a song writer, Singer and she plays the piano (amoung others!) Also fantastic live. Buy this album. Lisen to this album. U'll love this album!
