Chillout Anthems
Great chillout tunes blended into stadium anthems with some absorbing acoustic work. Tricky to categorise but it's all held together with smooth and charismatic vocals... I'd like to see this band play live.
Fantastic!
Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic. I happened to obtain this album FREE... and boy am I glad! It's a really beautiful set of songs, sexy, folky , chilled and an album that will no doubt remind me of summer 2011, really surprisingly cool and sexy sound. Will be listening to this on the way to work on my Ipod for the next few weeks I'm sure. The lead vocal is so smooth and rustic all at the same time. If you love good music and a clearly talented lead vocal that will move you, download this, real classy stuff. Love it! A Serendipity for sure.
Great first album
Beautiful lyrics backed by a sophisticated sound and wonderful soulful vocalist. Somewhere between Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi, Massive Attack's Teardrops and Suzanne Vega's Luka - if you like those then you'll love this. Highly recommended. JosephC
