An exceptional listen
Warm up time at an Alison Moyet concert and on stage wonders Alex in a checked shirt and jeans. Here we go I thought, looking at my watch and opening my bag of overpriced sweets. Moments later I was listening to the melodies, delivered with passionate vocals almost haunting at times. This guy is good i thought....very good.
Call back is one of two great albums that Alex has written, played and recorded, self motivated and often self resourced.
Don't preview, buy the albums and keep listening...you will be hooked.
Don't hold me back
Have just heard this song at the end of an episode of The Big C. Went on line to get it straight away and have ended up downloading the whole album. Beautiful stuff.
Totally Agree
I totally agree with Alan, I first heard Alex play as support to Alison Moyet last year at the Sage Gateshead. I don't normally listen to support acts but so glad I did, my partner bought his album foe me there and then at the concert.
Really pleased Alex is getting the cover he deserves, even though it's been on American TV programmes, hopefully they will be a springboard to more people hearing his beautiful music
