Great CD - Great playing!!

'Can't Take No More' is raw blues power, fused with a fresh edge. Huge tones combined with dirty, fuzzy guitar riffs reminscent of Buddy Guy's 'Sweet Tea'. It's worth getting just for the first track alone 'Can't Take No More', which RAWKS!! The band sound awesomely tight and has a really live edge to it. Other stand out tracks are 'All the Same' - a lowdown dirty shuffle. 'I Can See Through You' - an upbeat blues/rock phenomenom and 'Last Thing I Do' - a big slow blues track that builds and builds and builds.....!!!! This is a must have album for any SRV, Hendrix, Doyle Bramhall ii fan.

Best Young Blues Player

This is my favourite album of the year. For anyone interested in blues guitar this is a must-have. Scott McKeon covers a variety of styles but in his own way and every track is excellent. My own faves are "Can't Take No More" which is instant and is the ideal opener,"Last Thing I Do" which is the slow blues number, "All The Same",and "Cool Lookin Woman" which is a real grower. If you want to listen to a great young blues guitarist then Scott McKeon is the one to check out.

Awesome

Considering Scott was only in his early twenties when he recorded this album, I feel he captured the soul and feelin of contemporary blues extremely well. I've see this guy live and his guitar work sends shivers down my spine. I recently heard a couple of tracks from the new album at a live gig and they sound amazing. Look out for a song called 'The girl' on the next album. Not sure if that's the correct title though.
