Can't be faulted ...
This collection is just excellent and showcases the great Wolf at his best in my humble opinion - the music as fresh and exciting as when it was first cut. Just superb!
Chess Masters Series Howlin' Wolf - His Best
I am a 62yr old blues nut and this CD takes me back to my teenage years. Given that Elvis,the Beatles, the Stones and many more were listening to this music in the late 50's / early 60's is it any surprise that so much great music followed??
Just like gold!
This is the first blues album I have purchased, and it is fantastic. My 8 year old son agrees.

Six foot three and close to 300 pounds in his salad days, the Wolf was the primal force of the music spun out to its ultimate conclusion. A Robert Johnson may have possessed more lyrical insight, a Muddy Waters more dignity, and a B.B. King certainly more technical expertise, but no one could match...
