Brill Britney Back!
As a HUGE Britney fan, for me this has to be Britney's best album so far. These are my ratings :- 1) Womanizer- Brilliant comeback single. 9/10 2) Circus- Also a brilliant song, slightly better than Womanizer. 9.5/10 3) Out from Under- A personal fav. It's such a beautiful ballad. 10/10 4) Kill the Lights- Infectious song, that you want to dance along to. 10/10 5) Shattered Glass- It grows on you, but the pre-chorus/bridge is my fav part as it's so catchy. 8.5/10 6) If You Seek Amy- Didn't like it at first, but it was so infectious, it really does grow on you. 9/10 7) Unusual You- Another personal fav. I love the melody, it's almost hypnotic 10/10 8) Blur- It doesn't stand out. It's quite average. 5/10 9) Mmm Papi- The melody is infectious, but what ruins this song is the way her voice has been processed. 6.5/10 10) Mannequin- Although this song doesn't have much of a melody or vocal range, it's still damn hot! It's SO infectious, you WILL find yourself dancing to it. 9.5/10 11) Lace and Leather- It's a nice melody, but it doesn't stand out. 8/10 12) My Baby- Lovely lyrics, which obviously reflect her true emotions towards her children. 6/10 13) Radar- I've loved this song since i heard it on "Blackout," but it's a pointless bonus song. Instead she should have used the brilliant "Quicksand" or "Trouble". 8.5/10 14) Rock Me In- Really catchy. You just want to dance along to it. 9/10 15) Phonography- Another personal fav. I love it's infectious melody. 10/10 16) Amnesia- So glad i can finally buy this on iTunes. I absolutely love this song. The melody is so sweet, that the song is practically sugar coated! 10/10 This album is a must have, even if you're not a Britney fan.
Brilliant!
Britney is most deffinatly back! This album is really showing her comeback, aswell as the tour she's doing, for the album! If I were you, i'd buy it! The songs are so lovely and some, can't stop you from dancing! Im so glad that you can get Amnesia now, one of the best songs on the album! Believe me, these songs are the best songs you could hear, such a range of songs! From dancey songs, to slow take-to-heart songs, to jumpy songs!
Best of 2008!
This one of my picks for the best album of 2008. Britney has comeback with her best album to date! My personal favs are Circus, Shattered Glass, Unusual You, Mmm Papi, My Baby, Radar and Phonography. But I have to say there is not one song that I don't like on this album. I would like to say well done to Britney for one awesome album!
