Fresh, sexy, and exciting.
I was lucky enough to see him live supporting the Pet Shop Boys at the O2 in June, and have been waiting for this album since then. He has an amazing voice, an incredible vocal range, and although I hvae only listened to the complete album once, I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys electro pop to buy this especially with the bonus video and complete album mix. Already my favourite newcomer of the year.
I don't get all this hype.
To be fair, i was a big fan of FrankMusik before this album was released from the singles i had heard off the previous EP's and Myspace etc. What a let down this album is. 3 Little Words has been completely murdered by some producer no doubt. It sounds atrocious compared to the original version. Confusion Girl has to be one of the most annoying songs of the year so far. Just has no appeal to me. Just corny lyrics put on top of an over-used electronic loop. Get the original version of 3 Little Words and steer clear of this shocking album.
Utterly fantastic debut
This is the most anticipated album of 2009 as far as I'm concerned, and it lives up to all the hype. The songs (most of which I have from Vince's early demos) have been tweaked and perfected to make them more mainstream, and the songs sound so much more impressive and 'complete' than the early versions. I thoroughly recommend this album to any electronic lovers or pop aficionados, you will not regret it. Frankmusik will only get better and better, but this is an album to be proud of.
