This is such a good album!
I was lucky enough to come across this guy and was very glad I did!! What an extraordinary collection of songs. "Let it go" is an instant classic as is "100 Miles" which made me feel kind of distant. An odd feeling for a song! Heaton has a great voice with feeling and I could tell he meant what he was singing which says a lot in these days of "disposible nonsense" and television personalities... I would recommend this album to anyone who has a genuine passion for a good tune. Plus, there's some really clever production moments.. "Better than B4" being one of them.. It's huge!!
Computer Geek Chic: Heaton
Heaton's "Computer Music" has been a regular play in my cd player over the years as well as now on my iTunes. The album contains the perfect blend of uplifting pop and dance through to the heartfelt tenderness of the slower tracks. My personal favourite is "It's Not The Way You Love Me" but trying to place any of the songs in any kind of order of preference feels impossible. A superb album.
It only gets better.
I've heard Heaton many times live over the last 7 years and I've got previous work which is all good, but it just keeps getting better. Heaton is one to keep an eye on.
