Customer Reviews

They're back and they're brilliant!

This was Glasvegas' second single towards the end of last year. It's now been re-recorded and ever so slightly slower. But the passion shines through, and if it doesn't bring a lump to your throat, you need to ask yourself some questions. I played this song to some of my fifteen year old students, overwhelmingly they loved it. You should too.

JUST GOOD MUSIC

This four track ep is certainly one that as well as backing up the hype surrounding Glasvegas, also delivers a good insight into what this band is generally about. Their delightful differences from the tedious indie scene and unique style are on show all across these four tracks, which includes a decent rendition of a Nirvana classic in 'Come As You Are'. Watching this band supporting Kings of Leon earlier this month gave me a good idea of how big these guys could be and although frontman James Allen looked to be pretty well oiled, he and the band more than held there own in a sometimes intimidating venue such as Brixton Academy. Promising EP and an exciting band. Surely a good enough reason to spend your music money on the self titled album when it comes out on the 8th of September.

Next big thing

Yes they have been hyped. But some bands deserve hype, and this is one. This is undoubtedly one of their best songs. Can't wait for the album. 'Mercury In Retrograde's review makes me laugh - they have failed to notice that Come as You Are is not actually a Glasvegas song... but by some band called Nirvana.. apparently they were big in the 90's.......
