Incredible album, incredible man

Evolution can't describe the changes that Bowie's made throughout his career. The former art student has time and time again regenerated to incorperate new ideas into his work, and splices genres into each of these fantastic songs. The highlights of this truly amazing album? The poignant but genius Space Oddity, that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Changes; just a ballard, but so beautiful and sums up his career. Young Americans; just for the line "Ain't there one damn song that can make me break down and cry". The emotion you can feel in Heroes, Bowie means every word he's singing. The bassline in Let's Dance. The imagery used in China Girl. David Bowie is on par with the likes of Paul McCartney and Paul Weller. This album is the complete collection showcasing one of the greatest artists of all time, and is well worth any amount of money.

Absolute Bliss

Due to my stupidity I lost my entire collection of Bowie. This goes a long way to replacing work covering forty years , showing his different styles and moods. It picks out what I feel is his best stuff, I love it!!!

Prior to his breakthrough in 1972, he recorded a proto-metal record and a pop/rock album,...
