Album Review

Brian "BT" Transeau provided a bare-bones production for Martin's debut album, though the single "Your Loving Arms" and "Running Around Town" are magical electro-pop tracks.

BUY THIS NOW!!

This is one of my most favouritest(?) albums EVER. Her swooping vocals, dead-pan style and occasional shrieking are perfect with the electroclash of the music. Highlights "Hands Up And Amen", "Deadline For My Memories"(should have been a single) and "You and I Keep holding On". Pure bliss.

An Absolute Gem

This surely must be one of the best albums of the 90's with a great mixture of electronic dance tracks and ballads. For me Space Oasis and Running Around Town are great tracks, but the singles - Imitation of Life and Your Loving Arms - shouldn't be missed either.... In fact, they are all wonderful....just download the whole album! I thought this would never see the light of day again, but I saw that some of BRM back catalogue was making it to the download stores - so first stop had to be iTunes! I'm now hoping some of the singles from this era will be on here soon as well.
