A stylish yet emotional mix of glam rock, new wave, girl groups, and indie pop, New York's the Secret History formed in 2007 out of the ashes of My Favorite. That group's singer/songwriter, Michael Grace, Jr., guitarist Darren Amadio, bassist Gil Abad, keyboardist Kurt Brondo, and drummer Tod Karsik joined forces with Lisa Ronson, daughter of guitarist Mick Ronson, when she answered the band's ad for a "Female Voice/Tragic Cult Figure."
