Waited & overrated..
Worthy of Hype!
What annoys me most about the UK at the moment is it's tendency to discard not just rock music in general, but the second version of Oasis, purely because of how Liam left things with Noel. Yes, it was a departure on bad times and yes, Liam came out as the villain; but that doesn't mean he can't produce good music. The three teasers from the album, "Four Letter Word", "Bring the Light" and "The Roller" are all 10/10 singles for me, each presenting themselves as the new rock and roll era, although "The Roller" particularly stands out on the album. Although on first listen the album sounds like merely old Oasis material, that doesn't stop it being brilliant and having listened through a few times, I can safely say that buying the album is not something you'll regret any time soon. I hope the album doesn't tumble down the charts after Sunday, where they are almost certain to get a top 3 placement and I hope people (and radio stations) can start supporting the band; we need rock music and Beady Eye are here to provide!
