Music Project created by the two Venezuelan producers Juan Laya & Jorge Montiel. Combining a retro but still modern sounding style, Los Charly’s Orchestra are characterised by creating a unique feeling that blends a Nu Disco - Boogie feeling from a Latin perspective - often defined as "Chicano Salsoul" - their signature sound. The band has worked in collaboration with some of the most prolific current producers such as Jose Luis Pardo (from Los Amigos invisibles), Faze Action & Joey Negro. Los Charly’s deliver great selection of 70s inspired disco tunes, all featuring live playing, loads of brass, killer Moog solos, irresistible percussive rhythms and soulful vocal lines.
