A fantastic collection....
I bought this on the back of some excellent reviews and I wasn't disapointed. Standout tracks are Mat Gibson's 'Lay Me Down', Wild Pines' 'Tillie Hold On' and Southern Tennant Fold Union's 'Let Me Wipe the Tears from Your Eyes'. It's turned me on to a number of acts I hadn't previously heard and opened my ears to a broader range of alt.country (or Americana if you prefer). Check out the Snakes' 'Amarreto' which makes me smile very time I hear it.
