Insanely beautiful.
This makes me feel like I felt the first time I heard The Beatles or Elliott Smith. Insanely beautiful.
best find of 2009 so far.
suprisingly soulful, rich warm tones, Fleet Foxes vs Laura Marling, awesomeness.., spine tingling harmonies, musicianship of an early Lennon and McCartney. fast developing swedish sisters Klara & Johanna Söderberg started composing in like 2007 and have now produced a quite fantastical debut album. i likes it, a lot. and 'yes, they are very young, but the pure music they create speaks of bygone times and old souls.'
Pure and true
Johanna & Klara exude raw talent, rich harmonies and simply beautiful music. Their take on Fleet Foxes 'Tiger Mountain Peasant Song' is haunting and spine-tingly and a real tribute to the original. First Aid Kit give us back the raw, stripped to the bone honest to goodness originality, melody and richness that is so lacking in mainstream music.
