(From Press Release) Tiësto’s fourth studio album Elements Of Life was released in April 07 to widespread critical acclaim and was supported by a sell out 10,000 capacity UK launch party at Alexandra Palace in London and similar events in Eire, Scotland and N.Ireland. Each event saw Tiësto performing solo with guest vocalists taking the crowd through a choreographed DJ set featuring the four key elements of life utilising cutting edge video, lighting, pyrotechnics and staging to create one of the first ever real DJ concert tours. Elements Of Life has been touring around the globe taking in 26 major shows in 21 countries where Tiësto has performed to hundreds of thousands of fans (and still counting, check out Tiësto's massive residency at Privilege every Monday in Ibiza this summer) making him the biggest DJ on the planet without a shadow of a doubt. To celebrate one year on, Tiësto lands with the Elements Of Life Remixed album, a 16 track collection including 11 new and exclusive remixes of tracks taken from the original album featuring the likes of Cosmic Gate, DJ Preach, Airbase, Mat Zo and First State alongside classic remixes of Dance4life by Fonzerelli and Sander Van Doorn, Dirty South’s awesome retake of In The Dark plus Break My Fall remixed by Richard Durrand. Also included is the unreleased bonus track No More Heroes featuring Blue Man Group making this album an absolute must for Tiësto fans the world over.
Second Time Around Fab
This ablum for me has slight changed in terms of the sound ,as the first version was more your Aritst album? Where as this version is more Club like ,what I mean by that its more Progressive sound that your likely to get if you went to see him Live and yes ten seconds before sun rise for me is still up there with the best of both Albums? Overall second time around just great and if am honest I think I like this one a bit more and with it being 799 its well worth a listen
Proper dance music
I have to admit this album is not bad. It's great. Some of the songs you can dance to, and some songs you can just chill out and relax to, like TEN SECONDS BEFORE SUNRISE. I also like the album cover. A "must consider getting" album.
