Classic
Bought this CD yesterday and it's ace. A brilliant debut album from newcomer Erland Cooper and his more well-known band mates Paul Nock of The Fireman (Paul McCartney's band) and Simon Tong guitarist of The Verve and The Good, The Bad & The Queen (with Damon Albarn, the sleeve actually thanks Damon for lending his studio for E&TC to record). But this band's music is so good that they don't need the help of their famous friends, this album will no doubt bring them a huge fanbase of their own. Looking forward to seeing them live in February supporting the Wild Beasts, another new band I like.
Album of the year?
Great debut album, unique sound, I have seen these guys live and they are the real deal, looking forward to album no 2!!
