Erland - grab and grow
Hooked by "was you ever see" and after I was alerted by staff pick in Rough Trade. The recurring lyric and rhythm feels instantly new, yet faintly familiar. The music actually gives the feeling that is was crafted by traditional "local" experts, and feels solidly british. Hoping rest of the album is a grows to meet my initial love for "was you ever see". quitely shocked to discover the songs generated real emotion while driving alone, and it was no insect in my eye. Does this genre indicate musical maturity or just middle age? Off now as worried my my pipe has fallen out of the ashtray, trouble in mind indeed.
