legend of rock a must have album in fact just get every song

Pure Genius!

Status Quo are a great band and this disc is a remarkable example of Status Quo. It has the famous classic Status Quo rockers such as Down Down and Rockin' All Over The World and his also has some very interesting others aswell. My favourite track on the disc is Come Rock With Me/Rockin' On kuz it's so different to the rest and is really interesting. The only thing that stops me from making this a 5 star review is that it is missing 2 of my other favourites: Whatever You Want and Paper Plane. But apart from that a really good Status Quo collection!

Essential? Really?

While Status Quo are often regarded as "rock legends", this compilation shows that this is definately not true. 18 tracks recycling about 3 different ideas, its all 12 bar blues, uninspiring recycled guitar lines, and about 3 chords. Good musicians maybe, but this is run-of-the-mill, unoriginal rock for the masses. Not recommended.
