by thom89It is so refreshing to hear a youthful indie sound with the emphasis being on good songs and good music. Jack Steadmans unforced talent is clear. i hope b.b.c can catch the public imagination as they have captured mine.
Finally a new band with good music not just a fashion craze
by Contour Man!Ever since the ''The Boy I Used to Be'' EP was released follwing their success on Road to V, Bombay Bicycle Club have steadily risen delivering great songs all the way. Jack Steadman's amazingly unique and mature vocals provide a fresh exciting sound to rising choruses and mellow verses. This latest single, Evening/Morning provides prime examples of both. Evening/Morning is a typical Bombay sound delivering a catchy riff and Jacks distinguishable warble. However the B side You Already Know is an unplugged, 4 minute chill out song. Probably not one of the most memorable songs it does however show the bands abillity to delve into different styles of music further outlining their maturity as musicians. Overall another good offering from a even better band. 5 out of 5.
