Fever
Bullet For My Valentine are back with their third studio album Fever, and from my first couple of listens I can say this is the album we have been waiting for since The Poison. Scream Aim Fire was a good album, but even the band themselves said that it isn’t the album they wanted to release. Fever is like a combination of their first two albums, but a lot more towards the sound of The Poison side than Scream Aim Fire, and lyrically it is a great improvement on their last album and a lot darker in some of the songs.
Opener Your Betrayal is a brilliant epic and heavy song that gives you a little taster of what is to come. Fever and first single, The Last Fight follows on nicely with the same heavy sound. Then we come to the first softer toned track, A Place Where You Belong, with its calm melodies but great riffs and lyrics, but not one for the lover of a heavy track, maybe if you liked Hearts Burst Into Fire but still a good song. Following on Pleasure And Pain, Alone and Breaking Out, Breaking Down separate the next softer toned track, Bittersweet Memories. Then Dignity bursts through with the reminiscent sound of The Poison, and then my favourite song on the album and the heaviest, Begging For Mercy. It is one of the best tracks since Tears Don’t Fall and Waking The Demon. And in typical BFMV style they end the album with the heavy and brutal song in Pretty On the Outside.
I have had a couple of listens of the album and the best songs on the album are Begging For Mercy, Your Betrayal, Fever, Alone, Pleasure And Pain and Dignity.

Overall it is an incredible third album, and any fan should have a listen. It is heavy, epic, brutal and the best album since The Poison. If you loved The Poison then you will love this. As a long time Bullet fan, I am very pleased with the album.

Bullets new album is great, yet many guitar riffs, are familier from other songs by bullet and by other artists and thier songs are becoming very, samey
Another amazing album from bullet!!!!
It is a really gr8 album, still not better than the poison but they would never top that!!! I think that is why crictics gave scream, aim, fire such a hard time : because they expected an album like the poison, but they just can't beat that. Anyway, this is a gr8 album. The best songs are your betrayal, the last fight, pleasure and pain, dignity andpretty on the outside the rest of the songs are great too
