Fabulous piano!
If only for the track Memphis Stomp, you must have this recording. If ever there was a backing to accompany driving really fast, this is it. you too can be Steve McQueen in 'Bullitt'. Dave Gulsin is a really talented jazz pianist and his often staccato style is perfect for the film but stands up brilliantly on its own. Top Alec.
Grusin at his best
An amazing album, each Grusin track bursting with complex grooves. The tracks by other artists are nothing amazing, but definately get all of the tracks by Dave Grusin - they will be going round you head for days.
