great album, great lyrics, great guy!
Nothing beats watching him performing live, but this album definately lets me re-live the 1st night i saw stewart playing songs from this album with his band.. and WOW! his personality really shines through in his music. my faves on this album are tracks 2, 3, 5 and 9. Track 2; Fall To Pieces. A really upbeat song that i love blastin out whilst drivin in my car, singin away! Track 3; Misery Loves Company. "if misery loves company, then why am i on my own again.." surely each and everyone of us had felt that exact same way, and in my opinion, a song that the audience can relate to, is bound to be a hit. Track 5; Invisible. Again, a song which im sure a lot of people can relate to, about feeling like u dont get noticed, no matter what what u do or how hard you try. Track 9; Clear. This is definately my favourite track on Stewart's album, cant quite put my reasons into words, but have a listen and im sure you'll know why. An autobiography with melody
At this moment in time, Stewart Mac is standing out from the crowd. He's fought back the cliche love songs and instead decided to tell his story of truth. From Cautious Intent is like an autobiography..with melody. Stewart has the ability to share his experiences in a way that his audience feel they have no choice but to relate. In short, this is a collection of songs about chasing a dream, pushing yourself to the boundaries, taking a chance, and working to make a success of yourself and what you believe in. It's all covering the emotions and the situations we discover ourselves in whilst living our lives on a daily basis, Stewart Mac is real.
Live Performance
I was lucky enough to see them perform live at Twickenham supporting Bon Jovi ( 27th June ). I would highly recommend them to anyone great songs and a wonderfull live performance.
