Some good observations
The first single from the new album has a slower, simpler tone than the previous one. Despite its aspirations, it strikes me that it's lacking some edge, and ends up being a bit preachy and slightly patronising. Whereas, say, Magician's Assistant packs a punch in advancing its argument, this seems to be holding back slightly. I doubt it will inspire anyone actually to get better. I also hope I am wrong.
An excellent opening gambit
Awesome tune with a sentiment which is all too rare in todays pop culture. Cannot wait for the rest of the album, i wonder if the Daily Mail will give it a review?! :)
