Amazing musical.. The story is portrayed so well and this soundtrack is a perfect representative for the show. Wonderful casting and the voices are so easy to listen too. Buy and listen to this wonderful show.
Absolutely Sensational!
After having seen this in it's Manchester Previews twice, the creative geniuses behind this project (Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard) have delivered! All of the songs are wonderful! I love how "Unchained Melody" is used very freely, so that those who didn't like the original song can actually hear the "iconic" song in a fun, and enjoyable context! Caissie Levy has a voice that makes you melt in this soundtrack you can really feel RAW emotion through her voice ("With You" is particularly moving!) - which is so hard to do, and it was Spot On! Sharon Clark's number "I'm Outta' Here" is outstanding! The closing of ACT 1 is perfect! I only thought Wicked was the only show with the best ACT 1 ending song, but no - "Suspend My Disbelief/I Had a Life" is so moving and the voices of Andrew/Caissie/Richard gel so well :-) The second batch of songs are JUST as good, and "Rain/Hold On" is again a cracking Open to Act 2 - I just basically want to say that changes have been made for the BETTER to an already awesome show from Manchester! I am so glad to have seen the development of this exciting new musical - and no, it's not just selling as it was a FILM - this is a 5 year project very carefully put together to enthrall the West End! I BELIEVE It has the POTENTIAL to go Worldwide! 5*s! Hamza J :D
Ghost, listening is believing!
What can one say about Ghost the Musical? How can it be described? Is there a word?
There truly isn't.
Ghost is one of the most touching soundtracks I have ever listened too, the vocals from the main cast warm the soul, the orchestrations send shivers down every spine in the body. The words in the songs can relate not only too Ghost, but too real life, about love, and loosing a loved one. The songs can provide comfort, and for some of us, a way of expressing how we really feel about loosing a loved one.
Every single person behind Ghost, whether it be the main cast, writers, dinner ladies or the staff cleaning the theatre at the end of the show, they should be applauded, because they are part of something that the West End has not seen before. They are a part of something that will be remembered and celebrated. They should be proud.
Ghost is one too watch, it's here to stay, warming the hearts of every person who see's or hear's it.
David, Scotland.
