Customer Reviews
Improve your record collection
Just when I thought I'd heard everything. Where the hell does he find this stuff? Mr Petterson has always had impeccable taste and it's nice to hear him offer a great selection of tracks outside of the contemporary dance market. Apart from a couple of world music, alright in the background, kind of tracks there are some tasty funky grooves (Just me N' you) and mellow jazz vibes (He does it better). Nice.
And don't forget the brilliance of Marya
Subtle, glacial, simple, wash over jazz. The best things in life are simple you know.
Gilles does it again!
I purchased this album after reading Bootsy's review. I remember him quoting "where does he get this from!" And he's damn right! Some of these covers are excellent! Take Didn't I, the first track! This is album is going to be a must for this years' summer. Its take pride of place in my collection. He's doing a lot to keep jazz and its alternate forms on its feet. And we all applaud you! Thanks again for such a fantastic collection of music.
