Great band - another great album
It's amazing that Ben's Brother haven't been given the recognition they deserve...frontman Jamie Hartman wrote "All Time Love" for Will Young and "Haunted" with Ben Montague. This EP is yet another example of how he can write songs and perform them in such a manner that you are made to question the entire trend in popular music today. Songs such as "Glow" and "Sanctuary" give the album a mellow and relaxed feel, whilst the opening track, "What If I", provides a powerful and upbeat ballad that should be in the top 10 of the charts. The cover of John Lennon's "Love" at the end shows that there clearly is still talent in the music industry, but you have to route around a bit to find it
Brilliant
Ben's Brother is Jamie Hartman. This EP follows on from the bands first two LP's 'Beta Male Fairytales’ and last year’s epic 'Battling Giants' The new single 'What If I' which also featured on their last album has been included as the first single to be released from the Glow EP.
Fans of the first two albums won't be disappointed; Hartman delivers more of the same, presented through sweeping melodies and hook laden choruses. It’s shocking that this band hasn’t earned more recognition, their debut album missing out narrowly on a top 10 UK album spot.
Buy this now, you won’t regret it!
Superb
I can only re-iterate what the first two reviewers have already said. Why this band isn't massive is a total enigma. Maybe it's poor management or the great British public are slow to catch on. Whatever the reason just buy this E.P. Great songs,performances and production make this collection total
value for money. £4.99 well spent !
