Hacienda Lives on!
Hmmm...Another Hacienda compilation. The first one (Triple CD of Hacienda Club Classics) was a real gem but I am not too sure about this one. Yes, Acid House was extremely exciting when it hit the UK in the late 80's but this CD is not the best presentation of that era. The choice of tracks is a bit odd, some of the mixes are terrible and some of the tunes have been cut short. Nevertheless, this is another snippet from the legendary Hacienda years and an essential item to keep in your Hacienda "archive". I've forgotten what a great tune "This is Acid" by Maureen was!

DANCE DANCE DANCEABLE
If you want late 80's Madchester house to go mental and dance all night to, this is it, no fillers. This is all you'll ever need for any party. Just thudding beat after incredible beat all the way. I don't know if it's necessarily the best compilation of it's type around but you won't be disappointed.......
