Great album!!
An absolutely sublime album! Checked him out live in London and was blown away with his performance. This album is a treat from a man who has great songs, a great voice, and is sure to be one of the guitar greats. An album that you can listen to anytime of the day, I definitely recommend this to anyone!
Blues stained shoes!
Eloquent, accomplished, and at times, rampant blues, with an 'oil-rag' edge. Classic blues caricatures delivered in a detroit style. Think hints of Johnny Lee Hooker, shades of Steve Earle and a 'Dylanesque' clarity of vocals that complements hugely enjoyable guitar riffs and melodic tunes distilled with superb minimalist production. Open the windows, hell - grab a bottle of bourbon, dance on a table, fall off and do it all again. A truly magnificent debut from an artist destined for bigger things. Credit crunch? This is one album you won't be writing off anytime soon. Buy it!

Brilliant, saw him for a fiver at a local pub and he was fab, the guy puts his heart and soul into his music and seems like he genuinely loves what he does, really nice uplifting songs that dont take themselves too seriously and put a smile on your face, a joy to listen to
