poor show from Hed Kandi yet again. Anyone remember BEACH HOUSE 1? Where have we gone from there?This is a dull, boring, "trying to be cool" CD. Dont try to get too commercial, dont try and get to cool. Keep it upfront but personal. Disappointing.

Dont you know it.

Many reviews are too harsh, there are a few good songs on this album, with average digital mixing. If it's on in the background it's not that bad.

However, compared to the winter and summer 2004 mixes it is miles behind. Those were the days where they shunned commercial music and wouldn't think twice about putting themselves in league with the drab that is Ministry of Sound. The days when Mark Doyle mixed them and didn't rely on a some robot to do it.

Those where the short glory days of Hed Kandi, I still find myself buying every mix they release in hope they return but, although this is better than most past realses, I still feel dissapointed and my loyality to Hed Kandi is slowly windling.

Lables like Defected still manage to have that touch of underground to it which is a positive. Hed Kandi used to be a cool club now it's an over-crowded teeny bop club.

Come on team HK go back to your roots!
