Help I'm Alive is the first single taken from Metric's upcoming new album, Fantasies, their first in almost 4 years. Penned by their lead, Emily Haines, Help I'm Alive represents a return to a clearer, simpler approach to songwriting. The song doesn't overstay its welcome, and demonstrates that there's much to look forward to come April/May, when the album is expected to be released in the UK. One to keep an eye on!

if you like me have been waiting and watching the mini movie over at metrics website.. this being realesed will make you smile metric are an amazing band and i'm so glad to see them back, i'm also secretly comforted by the subject of this song and the newest album- as like most of my peers i too find it hard to grasp i am alive, living right now and what i should do with this life... cheers emily x cant wait to see them play this on tour
