Classic OMD
The recent comeback album is a must buy and this was one of the outstanding tracks, so if you are a fan of Old OMD then you love this. It also includes some extra tracks and the remixes are not too bad.
A truly great 12" mix!
I'm referring of course to the OMD extended mix of History of Modern (part I). If you haven't had a chance to buy the album yet I highly recommend it. This song in particular highlights the feelgood energy of this great new work. OMD showing how real music is made in 2011!

Featuring the core members Paul Humphreys and Andy McCluskey, the Liverpudlian synth pop group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark formed in the late '70s. Humphreys and McCluskey began performing together in school, playing in the bands VCL XI, Hitlerz Underpantz, and the Id. After the Id split in 1978, McCluskey was with Dalek I Love You for a brief time. Once he left Dalek, he joined with Humphreys and Paul Collister to form Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.
