Drum & Bass - As you've Never Heard it Before!

These guys are pioneers in the genre. Their combonation of fast, but simple jungle beats, the catchy synth hooks, the pounding bass lines, all mixed up to create an amazing album. The Album starts of with a prelude that you really have to listen to to capture the greatness of Slam, the albums lead single. It starts with an epic introduction lead by asian style horns and a slow purcussive beat, and then leads into the main part of the song, and amazing club hit with fast pounding beat and a very memroble hook. Other best songs on the albumn: Plasticworld - A trancy, spacy track lead by phased vocal track and bleeping background synths. Tarantula - A ragga orientated vocal D&B track with a brilliant intro that leads to a thrashing beat with a tech-step bass Hold Your Colour - A more emotional track, starting off with a strong vocal section, a soft strumed guitar and a beautiful steping synth pad. Then the song really starts, bringing an amazing riff over a proper chorus & verse, very unusual but very effective. The Terminal - A big contrast to Hold Your colour, changing from a very emotional track to a heavy rave dnb track, using alot of similar asain influances as Slam. Still Grey - If it weren't for the beat, this could easily be a dance song, because of its slow and phasing synth pad, deep female vocals and bleeping synth lead. Overall, this is one of the best albums you will ever buy, a modern DnB classic, and the start of a whole new era.

Sheer Beauty

No matter what you listen to, and especially if that is rock, you cannot deny the incredible musicality of this album. It is one of the most fantastic things released in 2006, both for musical brilliance and also because the tunes on it are so easy to dance to, and difficult to resist. Pump up the bass and fasten your seatbelts. This is one album that puts the pedal to the metal. *WARNING* Listening to this album while driving may result in several speeding offences.

Don't buy this off itunes i got it for £2 in hmv

it is a good album just wanted to warn you itunes had got it at more than double the price ITUNES IS A JOKE SORT IT OUT

Formed in Perth in 2002, the group was originally comprised of producers Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, who worked in tandem with a local DJ named Paul "El Hornet" Harding.
