How IT All Began for Doncasters Finest The Gents
1980's Band The Gents were the nearly men, better than your ordinary club band who released two proper albums on vinyl, this is the first from 1985 now for the first time on CD.
They had a big following in the clubs and the 'proper' gigs and festivals and for me should have had much greater success, if you like The Jam, Purple Hearts, The Who, then you will love this music.
Stand out tracks are REVENGE, THE FAKER, THE GENT, PINK PANTHER, TOMMORROW NEVER COMES
Saw them perform without original keyboard player Steve Kendell at the album launch of this CD on 14/10/2011 and after 26 years they went down a storm and did at least 2 encores.
Have a listen you will be impressed.....

What can I say ? Genius springs to mind classic songs like the faker new direction tmrw never comes!!!! Like the lambrettas god bless Jez a great band the gents ralphy the mod from Perth Scotland
