Customer Reviews

Laura

Her lyrics are poetry and her voice is honey, another incredible album from this young new folk goddess. If you enjoy story telling and melody you won't be disappointed by this gem.

Amazing talent

With regards to a previous review, slating laura because "indie" music is the worst kind is a bit harsh. If that's your view fine, but why are u buying this album to begin with? You'll also find that this isn't really "indie" music either. More ethreal folk that just has you spellbound for more. She's an amazing talent that sings so effortlessly and makes u wish u could talk that way when trying to communicate with others! Nick drake must of been a heavy influence because she definately has that feel to her music. Buy it, you wont be disappointed.
And no I don't imagine she'll be number 1 in the charts anytime soon unless there's some dodgy remix dancefloor breakbeat mixed in with it. But I'm sure she'll still be around in many years to come when all these other one hit wonders have fallen by the wayside.

I Speak Because I Can

Another brilliant collection of songs. Lovely, but not in any sense cloying. As with her first album, it's already improviving with every listen.
