The Beatles

Wow! What a week... Aung Sang Suu Kyi released by the Chinese... oops, sorry... Burmese 'government', Paul and Rachel Chandler released by Somali pirates, The Beatles released on iTunes. Whilst many will be glad that iTunes and EMI have resolved their differences I doubt that iTunes customers will be thrilled to see the prices charged by them. The recently released red and blue double CD remasters can be had for under a tenner at Sainsburys right now, Abbey Road and Sgt. Peppers at the same store - £6 each. That's a physical disc, which looks much better than a download on your iDevice.

I guess the price is OK for individual tracks but the high prices here have deterred me. Restore my faith in you iTunes and pop a couple of Beatles albums in your Christmas freebie promotion.

Shame... still it is great music...

A Briliant Collection

I recently got the Red and Blue album for my birthday. I've been winding up my family all week, playing this all day in my room! I just love The Beatles! If you can't decide on what Beatles album to get, I reccomend this one. This way you get a bit of every Beatles album!

perfect for cherry picking

If you need to cherry pick the songs you havent got, then downloading the beatles on itunes is perfect, but i agree with everyone that says buying the whole album on cd in a supermarket will be about ten quid cheaper than buying on Apple - itunes apple that is ;-)

Moreover, they were among the few artists of any discipline that...
